Description

So I've finally made one of my own deadlines yay for me.

So now that I'm done celebrating we can get back to business. Welcome to the second part of the Jurassic Oceans.
First of we have a Metriorhynchus Bay. You can see them from inside the big main aquarium building where there are a few viewing points for the big bay. In contrary to the other large species the Metriorhynchus are separated from the big bay because they could not coexist with the other animals in peace (this is also why there is no Metriorhynchus enclosure on the concept map). These crocodilians love to hunt for their food like it's seen in the picture, most of them would reject dead fish. They also present fairly intelligent behavior for crocodiles since they actually play with their food much like modern day killerwhales.
Next up we have an other thing that wasn't shown on the map, it's a little show tank for the Opthalmosaurus Shows. These creatures turned out to be more intelligent then expected and are really good at learning tricks. Because their anatomy closely represents that of dolphins they are capable of most of the same tricks, only things like walking on their tail is impossible for them because of the orientation.
Finally the big centerpiece of the aquarium, the Shark Tank. It's completely filled with Jurassic fish.
First species, Upper Left: Asteracanthus, This shark looks a lot like Hybodus but it's not a piscivoor but a crustaceavoor and only eats crustaceans. It's behavior is much like nurse and zebra sharks
Second species, Middle Left and Down Right: Wel if the previous is the Asteracanthus then this has to be the Hybodus. These sharks are a bit more aggressive then the Asteracanthus but they don't pose a threat to humans. They eat mostely small fish and squid.
Third species, Middle Right: Asthenocormus, this 3 meter long fish is the biggest creature in the tank. Their body structure sort of represents that of a sword fish with a less pointy snout. This fish feeds on smaller fish.
Fourth species, Just under the previous:  Gyrodus, this disky fish is the smallest species in the tank. It feeds on algae that grow on the rocks and corals and keeps the tank clean so there isn't much maintenance needed. (yes there are more on than just two of them in the tank)
Fifth species, Down Left: Hypsocormus, this fish species likes to swim in schools there aren't that many in this tank but in the big bay there are schools of more then 50 individuals. They feed on small fish much like tuna although they lack the superior speed of the tuna, therefor they work together (yes indeed fish work together). The fish drive the bait together and then the first wave attacks, this way all the bait fish are focused on these fish and they are oblivious to the second wave coming from the side so the Hypsocormus have a easy meal. The only problem is that this tactic works not as well with fish that form bait balls.

So here you have it part two, stay tuned for part three the last part that's centered around the bay and also my 100th Deviation.
